That’s true. You make very good points in your article. I think that when I first joined I thought that maybe I had a limited amount of claps per day. I saw someone clap 50 times and I was like “huh?” It crossed my mind that 50 could have been the limit. I also thought that by clapping too frequently it would reduce the value of my claps, and therefore reducing the amount of money I wanted to give to the articles I truly resonated with. For example- if I clapped 1000 times in a month, it would reduce the value of my clap to 0.005 cents, no? In a way, I was thinking “if I clap less, my clap will be worth 75 cents, as opposed to 0.0001 cent” – make sense?
