Is Medium Coming To An End?
Your death as a writer is fast approaching.
Tomorrow marks the start of a new day in the Medium world and many writers on the platform are frantically preparing for the pandemonium.
Just how serious the MPP problem will remain uncertain. Some fear that the platform’s financial systems could malfunction. Others predict that their expiry date as a writer is coming to an end.
We spoke to Logan Randon, a long-term staff member of Happy Space Cats today. He has revealed that he has been stashing a year’s worth of canned food in his basement.
“I predict that there will be worldwide chaos,” he says. “October 28th is creating an international sense of panic and I suggest that everyone seek underground shelter for the next 24 hours. We don’t know how violent Medium writers really are.”
As the clock ticks down to October 28th, writers have been taking extreme measures to ensure that their earnings are protected.
In Florida, a lawyer who writes on Medium part-time has stated that he has decided to withdraw enough funds to support his family for the next 7 years. In Austin, a stay-at-home mom was found at a hospital this morning from having a heart attack.
