This was not intended to rag on an article from 4 years ago. It was used as a reference point to highlight the fact that Strauss has been making changes in his life, and that he has actually found ways to better himself. I respect that.

What I don’t respect is men treating the book like a bible, and using aggression as a tactic to make sexual advances on women.

The term “nice guy” is stereotypical. Being a “nice guy” is simply just being a genuine person. You can be confident and nice at the same time. Being nice is not supposed to be a weakness.
