Hi James! That’s such a great and valid question.

When I decided to start writing, I realized that I had a completely different audience than my other job. Thus, I created a pen name. From a business point of view, it works out for me since they are completely separate industries (I use my real name for my business - so I felt there was a conflict of interest)

I also write really personal things, sometimes with other people included in stories. So for privacy reasons, having a pen name doesn’t restrict me from truly writing from the heart.
